We’re Not Young
I attended an IT conference at National Harbor this week for work. IT conferences typically aren’t the most exciting places on Earth. This was no exception. Sure, I gathered a lot of important information for work, but I also spent a good deal of time observing the awkward people around me and doing my best to learn the endless array of new and exciting acronyms. Apparently in a halfhearted attempt to get us to forget that we were attending a boring IT conference the organizers insisted on ending sessions on Enterprise Architecture by playing “We Are Young” by Fun over the loudspeakers. It seemed like an odd choice because most of the attendees weren’t particularly young and none of them seemed to be having any fun. Perhaps the song in the video above would have been a better choice.
